Royal Crest Stable (RCS) is a full service facility offering a multitude of services. Boarding, Training, Lessons, Leases, Sales, Shows, After school riding programs and summer camp. We are centrally located between Sacramento and Stockton on 30 serene acres in Galt, CA, (15 min south of Elk Grove). We offer personal attention and top-notch quality care for you and your animals.

Welcome to our friendly atmosphere and a clean facility. We offer 12x12 box stalls bedded with shavings and cleaned six days a week. Stalled horses are offered daily turn-out (weather permitting) at an additional charge. There are outside large private paddocks, some with covered shelters. Outdoor roomy pastures with a small rambling creek. We strive to offer the best quality hay for your loved one and have alfalfa or grass hay available. There is a caretaker on premises to assist with almost full-time on grounds supervision. Daily rates are also available for overnights, lay-ups and short-term stays.

Beat the heat and the rain! The facility has a 95x95 covered sand arena with lights and an attached eight stall barn. There is a second 16 stall barn with an indoor grooming rack, grain room, tack room and indoor laundry area. All stalls have automatic waterers and some have mats. There is an outdoor wash rack. There is a large 110 x 300 outdoor sand arena with maintained footing. There is a 40’ sand round pen, nestled under the trees and a large 100’ sand round pen / warm-up area. We also have trailer parking and private boarder lockers.

In the works are plans for a full size dressage court, more outside shelters.  We have plans for a new shavings bin and hay barn.  We hope to soon upgrade our fencing for the paddocks and the pastures.

Boarding

We offer box stalls, stall w/paddocks, paddocks or pasture.  Board prices include feeding 2—3 times per day and cleaning. Stalls are cleaned seven days per week, and stalled horses are turned out daily, Monday thru Friday, if scheduled. Blanketing and graining services are also available. We also offer “Full Care”, in which we will also manage your horseshoeing, annual vaccinations, regular deworming, etc….. We want your horse to be happy!

Pasture:
The cost to board in an outdoor pasture is $300.00 per month, per horse. Included in the price, endless supply of water and freedom to graze all day. Your horse(s) will be provided with hay when pasture grass is low. 

Stalls:
Stall board starts at $500.00 per month. Stalls are bedded with shavings and cleaned seven days a week. Horses are fed two to three times per day depending on their nutritional requirements.  We have either alfalfa or grass hay available. We are also experts at taking care of ponies. Stalled horses can be provided with daily turn-out time (weather permitting) and blanketing services for an additional fee of $50. We have a limited number of stalls w/paddocks available starting at $550.00 per month. 

Paddocks:
The cost to board in a paddock is $350.00  per month. Horses are fed two to three times per day depending on their nutritional requirements. 

Paddocks with private shelters are $400 per month. (Limited quantity and usually a waiting list).

Show-Conditioning:

Let us help you get your horse in tip-top show shape. If you want to win, you must be prepared!

Lay-ups:

Let us take care of your horse while they are recuperating from injury or illness. Special care will be given to them including medications.
