Lessons We offer riding lessons in Hunters, Jumpers and Hunt Seat Equitation, Medals and Pleasure. Our students range from beginners through advanced, in all age groups. Some would like to just learn basic horsemanship skills to others who compete on our “show team”. We stress learning good horsemanship, along with riding skills. (We do allow trailer-ins.) Horse crazy child?? Hate leaving them alone unsupervised?? Wish they had a wholesome activity to be involved in?? Then this is the place!! In our After School Program children learn all about horses. This includes general horsemanship (how to handle a horse), general care, grooming, tack (equipment) and tack care, anatomy, feeding, cleaning, etc. Yes, you will have to scoop some poop and clean out those hooves! They will also learn riding skills while developing a good seat and hands. The program will be limited to a small number of students in order to offer quality instruction and proper supervision. Taught by an experienced trainer with an outstanding ability to work with children. Lesson horses provided. Covered arena for year round protection. WE ARE THE ORIGINAL AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THIS AREA. I STARTED IT IN 1998 BEFORE ANYONE ELSE EVEN HAD THE IDEA. NOW I'M COPIED BY MANY OTHER TRAINERS. RIDE WITH THE TRAINER WHO HAS THE MOST EXPERIENCE!!
Show Teams - Our show team is a great group dedicated to their horses, their own personal skills and having fun! We have young walk-trot riders to advanced jumping riders. They compete from schooling shows to “A” rated shows, including out of town shows. We have had local, regional and National Champion Young Riders from our barn. (A list of their most recent accomplishments is enclosed.

Summer Camps - We offer beginning, intermediate and advanced sessions. Camps run from Monday through Friday from approx. 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Horsey arts and crafts are offered daily. There is swimming in the afternoons. Some of the topics discussed are Tack Care, Anatomy, Lunging, Bathing, Clipping, Braiding, etc. depending on the session. Friday is either a performance day to show off our new skills to parents, friends, etc. or a play-day of games and fun. Sessions fill very fast (limited to six per session) and applications are accepted after April 1st. The small groups insure quality instruction. School horses/ponies are available or you may bring your own horse (small boarding charge applied ). Participants may complete one session and also attend the next session in the same year, upon instructor approval. Overnight summer camp will be available in the future. *Prices may vary with time* Don't forget to check out BLUE RIBBON TACK at 665 C Street #100, Galt off of the Central Galt exit.
